Unlike some seaside towns, Falmouth isn’t well provided with tea rooms. Tea by the Sea is a small tea room offering cheap light meals for those taking a break from shopping, or who’ve wandered over from the beaches and hotels of Falmouth Bay or from Pendennis Castle. A coffee and walnut cake with a pot of tea came to less than £5.
