Miss Marples Tea Room is on the first floor above the Cornish Delights shop, and is accessed by a flight of stairs at the back of the shop. Although it gives the impression of being a bit of a tourist trap – and the shop certainly is – Miss Marples offers a good range of leaf teas, a wide range of cakes and a selection of light meals. The views across the River Looe are also quite pleasant, despite the car park immediately opposite. Cream tea with a pot of tea and a ham sandwich came to £8.95, which was very reasonable.
