The National Trust has many tea rooms but, as most of them are only accessible once one has paid the entrance fee to one of their properties, most of them won’t feature here. Their tea room at Corfe Castle, however, is just outside the entrance to the castle, freely accessible to anyone.
One of two tea rooms in the village of Corfe Castle, the Corfe Castle Tea Rooms & Garden is open daily for light meals cakes, and tea and coffee, though light meals are only served between midday and 2 pm. It has one large room for those taking tea, plus tables in the garden at the back of the tearoom.
A smoked salmon sandwich, a very nice coffee sponge, and a pot of tea totalled £11.
