Bumble and Bee in Manor Gardens, Exmouth, claims to offer award winning cream teas. Unfortunately, at the time of my visit it was also advertising for an experienced chef. For my liking the cream tea was nothing special, and the fruit scone too crumbly. But service was polite and friendly, and the tearooms were doing a brisk trade on a wet summer day, with tables reserved for later in the afternoon.
